It is finally hump day & I hope you are having a fabulous week. I have been wanting to start a series pertaining to business attire, since I will be transitioning my wardrobe within the next couple months. I figured this is a topic that so many of you can relate to, so I hope you can find some inspiration from these posts the next few weeks.

Fort starters, this blouse is from EShakti. Which if you have not heard of them, you should definitely look them up. They custom make every piece of clothing specifically for you [can you say awesome or what?]. I have been wanting to style a business outfit with a checkered shirt, which is why this is the first look of the series!

Transitioning your wardrobe can be so difficult & expensive. However, I am here to let you know you do not have to spend an arm & a leg on business professional clothes. This particular skirt is from J Crew Factory [which is their outlet] for only $50! Yes, you may be thinking that is still pretty pricey… but this skirt is so practical. I will be able to wear it for years, because pieces like this do not go out of style. I decided to go with something bright & out of my comfort zone for this skirt, because lets be honest I probably own two pieces of clothing that are red. I have to say I beleive it turned out pretty cute 😉

Black heels are a must in every closet. I fell in love with these from DSW, because the heel is the perfect height for a business setting. Oh & I must add they are actually comfy!

When you are shopping for business pieces always think practical! I will be able to wear this blouse to work & outside of work, which was my first thought when I picked it out from EShakti! And like I said, this skirt & heels will get a ton of use for several years. They are both practical items every new business woman needs in her closet!

I hope you enjoyed the first week for this series! Let me know if there are any particular business outfits or pieces you would like to see.

Thank you EShakti for this collaboration!
