Hey lady! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. Austin & I were extremely lazy & girlfriend it was so nice! This was the first weekend we had zero plans in seriously months. PTL for lazy weekends with my hubby & Brutus. It was just what I needed, especially after a long couple weeks of work.
I asked you on Insta stories the other day if you wanted to start seeing transitional outfits for spring & most of you voted yes! Therefore, I will start bringing you fashion forward spring items that you can wear now & in a couple months. I don’t know about you, but I am beyond ready for warmer temps & sunshine. There always comes a point in mid January where I am over winter & start feeling like I don’t know how to dress. Do you agree? I just hate the feeling of being ready for warmer weather, but not being able to dress for it.
I stopped by H&M the other day for a little retail therapy, & I came across this precious blouse. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know I love fringe + florals. With that said, this top is the best of both worlds in my book 🙂 It is extremely light weight so it’s great as that go to transitional piece! I am wearing size US 4, but probably could have sized up to a 6 for a baggier fit. I paired it with some high waisted jeans & open toe heels. Perfect for a day on the patio with your girlfriends or loved one!
Is it just me or are you ready for spring, too?
Hey girl, happy Tuesday! I am needing these next two work weeks to fly by, as our wedding is in 11 days. You could say it is definitely crunch time! I find myself solely thinking about all things wedding, which isn’t necessarily a good thing. LOL. Any who, I had to let all my DFW girls know about some fabulous shopping that just hit Fort Worth. And when I say fabulous, I mean sales galore & great designer stores 😉
Last week the Tanger Outlets in Fort Worth opened [next to the Buccees on 35 if you are familiar with the area] and I got to get a sneak peek before they opened to the general public. Let me tell ya, I am an outlet connoisseur & these outlets blow others out of the water. They are SO nice & have some of my favorite stores! Everywhere was having such great sales that I felt like I had to buy something, because I was saving a buck. That’s always my mentality, which isn’t always a good thing! If I can save money on clothes or shoes, sign me up! I mean who honestly enjoys paying full price? Um, I think no one!
Some of the stores include:
Needless to say I went crazy, because I love love love all of these stores. Did I really need 4 new pair of shoes from Steve Madden? Probably not, but I “had to have them” because they were buy 1 get 1 half off! You just can’t pass up on a deal like that 😉 I snagged this pink, off the shoulder sweatshirt from H&M [under $20] & my new favorite sneakers from Steve Madden. I have already received sooo many compliments on both!
And to top it all off, I have some exciting news! Tanger Outlets are being so generous & giving you the opportunity to enter to win a $100 gift card! Just text BlogFTW to 55695 for a chance to win. What’s to lose?
Happy shopping, loves! Thank you so much for stopping by!
Thanks to the Tanger Outlets for this collaboration. All opinions are my own.
One of my favorite things about loving fashion is that you can literally express your creativity in countless ways. I love being able to create looks that truly express who I am! I mean that’s what makes fashion blogging so fun, if you ask me.
With that being said, fall is around the corner, so be ready to see a lot more content revolving around sweaters, suede & fur! AKA three of my favorite things 😉 This pink, chunky sweater is from Red Dress Boutique & let me tell ya, the quality is amazing! It fits a little bulkier, so it would obviously pair great with some skinnies or leather leggings, but I decided to opt for something a little different! Lately I have been crushing hard on skirts, so I came up with the idea of layering this sweater on top of my black suede skirt [which is under $20]. One of my blogger idols, Brittany from Loverly Grey, always pairs shirts over skirts & dresses, so I totally stole this idea from her! I love how this look ended up. One because it is still extremely warm in Texas, so the skirt makes the outfit a tad more breathable. And two, it gives you a different way to wear the typical sweater we all have in our closet!
If you have never shopped from Red Dress Boutique you must! Seriously some of the most affordable pieces, that are so stinkin’ cute. I catch myself stocking their website daily now, because they are constantly adding new items. No judgement, please 😉 This sweater is under $50 & comes in several other colors, if you are not a pink girl! I have linked them below for your convenience.
Any who, I hope you have a fabulous week! Thanks so much for stopping by.

This past weekend I was overwhelmed with love from friends & family, especially my sweet aunts. Three of my aunts on my momma’s side threw me the most gorgeous bridal shower! And I am not just saying that, because I am biased. It was seriously absolutely beautiful & they literally thought of everything. You’ll have to stay tuned for my bridal shower post for all the details, because today I am just giving you a look at my 😉
I was on the hunt for a super girly dress with lace & sleeves for my shower! While browsing online I just so happened to find this one from ASOS! I got so excited when I found it, because it is definitely a “Geordian” dress, as my mom would say. From the peplum bottom, to the lace sleeves & sheer back… my oh my I am obsessed! It makes me super sad knowing I will not ever get to wear this LWD again, because let’s be real- I don’t repeat outfits like this one! 🙂 With that being said, I guess I will have to relive wearing it through all the pictures. I got more compliments on this dress, so if you are a bride-to-be I would highly recommend it. It is great for any showers you might have, or even your rehearsal dinner!
I wanted to put a little pop on it, so I added some velvet magenta heels! I found these online at DSW & they are only $30. Like what a stinkin’ steal!! They also come in two other colors, so if you are not a magenta girl, maybe the blush or cobalt blue would be for you. We all know velvet is the trend of the season, so I am excited to see what all I can pair these babies with!
Thanks for stopping by for another #WeddingWednesday 🙂

Another week & I am crossing my fingers that Texas will glimpse of fall soon. It has still been in the 90’s, so it has been extremely difficult to dress for fall! I always hate getting dressed in September, because I could still wear cut offs & sandals, but the season makes me want to whip out my sweaters & over the knee boots.
Whatever state you may live in, suede skirts are for you! I took this little number & threw on a white cami & open toe heels. Looks like fall, but not dying from a heat stroke 😉 When I saw this skirt online, I knew I wanted to invest, because I own nothing like it. If you ask my friend Paige what my staple in my closet is, she will tell you ruffles. I always love a good ruffle, so I had to add this drop waist ruffle skirt to my closet! The suede is gorgeous & honestly looks pretty expensive. No one would ever guess that it was under $25! Oh & even better, it is on sale today for $10. Hurry though, because there are only 2 sizes left! I am wearing a US 4 for reference, but could have taken a size down. I always size up in Boohoo, because their items usually tend to fit small.
Below, you will find several other suede skirts I want to get my hands on & they are all under $50! Happy fall shopping, even if it the crisp fall weather has not made it’s appearance in your neck of the woods yet!
My outfit is below. Have a great Tuesday!
