One thing I have never really enjoyed is packing for a trip, because lets be honest about the stress level that brings upon me…. [stresses me out just thinking about it].

Any who, finals are officially over which means it’s officially S-U-M-M-E-R!! Sad part is I start summer classes on Monday [lol at that], so say a little prayer for me. However, before classes start [again] I am going on a mini vacay for the remainder of this week, woohoo!! We are traveling on a cruise to Cozumel & then back to Galveston, & to say I am so excited & so ready is an understatement. I am so  anxious to get away & just relax & do absolutely nothing, aka lay by the pool & get my bronze on because its been raining cats & dogs for the past week here in Texas.

Back to packing though:

Whenever I am getting ready to get all my things together I ALWAYS make a list, which I do with just about any & everything in my life [so a.d.d. it’s not even funny]. So for this specific trip I really just packed beach wear including swimsuits [probably more than I need], coverups [like the two in the picture above], &  sundresses for dinners [along with my favorite wedges, of course]. I try to keep it to the minimal of what goes in my suitcase, but let’s be honest… I am a girl so this is a difficult task. Along with all the clothing necessities, don’t forget your advil, sunglasses, sunscreen, & JEWELRY [the biggest must].

I am so excited for this trip, because I have only been on one other cruise & I was 8, so this is practically my first one because I do not remember setting sail on that 13 years ago… whatsoever. It’ll definitely be a nice mini vacation to get away & just do nothing before my full load of summer classes start [yay…].

BTW before I finish this post up, TJ Maxx has been like my go to store this month. They have the perfect coverups & little shift dresses for summer… so hurry there before the stores are all picked over.
