Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend has been relaxing after the first official work week of 2016! It has been extra chilly here in Texas this weekend, so Austin & I have stayed snuggled up binge watching One Tree Hill [he may or may not want to hurt me by now lol].

Anyways, I can sometimes find it so challenging to come up with outfits to wear on date nights when it is chilly… so I thought I would share some of my personal tips.

I am a huge fan of getting dressed up for date nights, because lets be real… who doesn’t love getting dolled up for their special guy? Dresses are always my favorite go-to & when I came across this one [on major sale], from Nordstrom Rack, I knew I had to add it to my wardrobe. The sheer sleeves will make it perfect to wear into the spring months with some wedges, but for winter I thought it was cute & chic to throw on a black vest or fur jacket like above. Depending on the occasion & where you are going, is how I would decide between the vest or fur.

I must add that this black vest & jacket are something I have gotten so much use out of because they go with everything!! Whether you are going for more of a casual look, or dressed up look like above… it totally works every time!

So, I want you to go look in your closet right now because I guarantee you could throw together an outfit like mine with pieces you already have.
