Happy Tuesday & thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to stop by! So who else is counting down until Friday, because three day weekend [PRAISE]. I never knew I would be so excited for weekends, but that was until I started working. There is nothing more exciting then when the clock hits 5:00 Friday afternoon. However, I have learned that weekends go by way to fast. I vote we make every weekend a three day weekend? Monday or Friday off every week will do 😉

With July 4th coming up, I wanted to share an outfit with you that I think you could recreate with pieces you already have in your closet. Or you can recreate this look for a very reasonable price! I love to be festive for the Fourth of July & show my American pride 😉 My style does not really drift towards wearing stars & stripes, so I mix it up by wearing a little red, white & blue!

If you follow my Instagram, you know I own too many pairs of lace up flats. Which makes me able to justify adding these new red ones into my closet! I am a sucker for red & think it is a color you can make work year round. I found these flats for such a great price, I had to have them. I can’t wait to wear them to work throughout the rest of summer & throughout the fall!

Now for the rest of the outfit, I took one of my favorite off-the-shoulder tops & paired it with some white denim shorts. What’s better than chambray & white? I think nothing 😉 These two pieces add the perfect summer feel to the flats & make me ready to watch fireworks & celebrate the Fourth with my friends!
