So I think this is officially my favorite outfit that has ever made it to the blog. Honestly, I would die for sequins & a good fur coat any day of the week. I know I do not post hardly anything with sequins, but that is because I try to stick to more simple outfits I know we can all wear day to day! However, I have had a huge love for them for as long as I can remember 🙂

I was at Marshall’s the other day with my Mimi [my dads mom for any of you wondering] & we came across this skirt [similar linked]. I was SO hesitant to get it, because like I said it is just not something that is realistic to wear day to day. But of course, Mimi ended up talking me into get it. She said “it would be great for a holiday party” & she was definitely right about that! This skirt is made by Banana Republic & I seriously cannot wait to whip it out for NYE! My works Christmas dinner is more casual, so I will not be wearing it to that. But you can bet your bottom dollar you will be seeing this glitzy outfit make an appearance on New Years.

I love the length of this skirt, because it screams classy yet sassy 😉 Seriously though, this piece is a statement piece that all of our closets need time to time. I will be able to keep this in my closet for many years, because it is something that will honestly never go out of style.

I paired it with a velvet body suit [we all know velvet is huge this year] & my lace up heels. If it is extra chilly wherever you may live, throw on a fur jacket that you have the option to take off whenever you get where you are going. I think all you girly girls can easily recreate this look & put your own twist on it!
