Save the Dates: Shutterfly//

Well hello there! Long time no talk 😉 Seriously though, I took a little time away from the blog as life is crazy, so I apologize for that. However, I am back & in action. I even have three posts planned for this week… so go ahead & call me superwoman 🙂

As our 6 month mark for our wedding is slowly approaching (four days & counting), I wanted to go ahead & share our save the dates with you! By the way future brides, you want to send out your save the dates no later than 6 months from your wedding date! Any who, I researched & researched for the most cost friendly save the dates, as I was not looking to spend a fortune on them. I mean lets be real, sista is on a budget, & I love any deal I can get. After exploring multiple different websites that offered save the dates, we ended up going with a simple card from Shutterfly. And would you believe me when I say we got them for 50%? Well, you are going to have to believe me, because we did indeed! They are constantly having sales, so you need to keep an eye out. In fact, they have their save the dates marked up to 40% off right now. So act fast, as this sale will not last forever!

I knew from the start that I wanted one simple picture, in black & white, with a hint of gold! So cha-ching, because I found just that 🙂 I love that our cards are to the point, because that is the whole point of sending them. You want to bring awareness to your wedding date & location, so people can go ahead & mark their calendars! If you are a bride to be & on the hunt for simple, but elegant save the dates, you need to keep this in mind. In my opinion, you do not want to overwhelm your guests with too many words. Think simple & to the point. I have told several of my bride to be friends about Shutterfly, as I was super impressed with the fast turn around & classy look.
