You know those weekends you need to get away but 1. don’t have the time to sit in the car for hours on end & 2. you don’t want to break the bank? No worries, sista, I’ve got you covered with the cutest staycation option.

This past weekend my girlfriends and I had the pleasure of staying a night at The Texican Court in Las Colinas, TX. In case you are not familiar where Las Colinas is, it’s about 20 minutes from Dallas and is on the other side of Grapevine/DFW Airport. The hotel had it’s grand opening in May and I now want a ranch house to decorate, because OMG. SO CUTE.

The ambiance of the hotel made us feel like we actually got away and were in a different state, which is just what the doctor ordered for our staycation. All the Arizona + desert & western vibes! From the pink doors, to the tequila bar my heart was so stinkin’ happy.

Each room is decked out with the cutest decor & seriously has the best mini bar I have ever seen. Think everything from Coca Cola’s in old time bottles, to several bottles of wine. Seriously you don’t even need to leave the property if you don’t want. LOL! They even have Julio’s Chips and Salsa as part of the mini bar options…. I know, I don’t even need to say anything else 😉

I personally love how everything was extremely thought out with the decor and design of the hotel. Very Texas and I was all for it. As I mentioned, they have a Tequila Bar (doesn’t get more Texas than that) across from the lobby where margaritas are seriously $4 during happy hour. You’re welcome in advance, because they have happy hour every single day of the week. Now you really won’t be leaving the hotel. HA.

They also have Two Mules Cantina as a dining option! So when the margs start to hit and you need some queso in your life, run (don’t walk) there!

Whether you’re looking for somewhere to have a staycation, an anniversary trip, girls weekend or you’re coming to DFW for a bachelorette party, Texican Court would seriously be a great fit! It’s next to a ton of bars and restaurants + Toyota Music Factory, so you will definitely not run out of things to do. AND the nightly rates are extremely affordable, which you know is my love language!
