Well friend, we have almost tackled week two of quarantine. Have you reorganized everything in sight yet? I have our closets left to do this weekend and then this girl needs a new hobby! Any recs? We plan to watch the new season of Ozark that comes out tomorrow but other than that I need ideas. LOL! I refuse to sit on the couch all weekend.

If you need some more organizational inspiration, I am sharing how I store my makeup with ya. AND if you head over to stories I am even giving an embarrassing before and after look. Asking you not to judge me in advance, as cleaning my makeup and reorganizing my Glambox were way past due.

Austin gifted this Glambox to me two Christmas’s ago and it’s by far one of my most used gifts to date. I know I know, it is a tad pricey. BUT I will say it’s far better quality than the previous ones I had from Amazon and HomeGoods. Unfortunately, Glamboxes are out of stock now, but hopefully will be back sooner than later.

When going through my makeup I always get rid of any products I have not touched in 6 months. Hurts my heart to throwaway barely used items, but if I am not gravitating towards it then it’s time to go. Second, always check expiration dates. If you’ve had it since college, chances are it’s probably old and needs to be tossed. No shame, because I definitely had to throw away the lipstick from our wedding and it crushed me. LOL. Something so silly that was so sentimental to me.

Now to each their own, but I organize the drawers in the order I use them. First drawer has my foundations. Second drawer has bronzer, blush and highlighters. Third drawer consists of all of my eyeshadow palettes, mascaras and liners. I love topping the box with my lipsticks and brushes, but you could easily store your skincare there too!
